The ORANGE Lip

One of this seasons TOP TRENDS , hot off the runway and easy to achieve at home for a new , bright , bold and out-there look .
Wear it toned down during the day and amp it up for the evening!
The popular ‘red lip’ look is out the window …… welcome THE ORANGE LIP!

Straight from the Spring 2011 runways of some of the top designers in the fashion world such as :

Jill Stuart , Isaac Mizrahi , Marc Jacobs , Zac Posen , Lela Rose , Alice and Olivia , Temperley and many more.

For blondes , tone the colour down , wear more pastel tones with a nude eye.

For brunettes , amp the colour up with rich , matte tones and a smudged smoky , grunge eye.

To achieve a perfect ORANGE LIP ……

*Conceal the entire lip with your normal face concealer or invest in some lip primer.

*Line the outside and fill in the entire lip with a suitable lip liner colour.
*Apply your pick of orange lipstick. Best applied with a defining lip brush.
*For a matte finish lightly dust a translucent blotting powder over the top to set the colour in place.
*For a rich glossy finish apply your pick of lip gloss or balm.

Doing these step by step tips should ensure your colour stays in place for hours.

Staple! For all my followers outside Australia … try to get your hands on this.

Apply on lips for a soft moisturised finish , apply over the top of cheekbones and even over eyelids for that quick dewy , luminous look ;) also a great hand cream and body moisturiser for really dry skin.

Mac powerpoint eyepencil in Engraved.

Smudge over eyelids and in waterline for a quick sexy smoky look for everyday.

A colour that suits every skin tone and every age. Apply with fingers over cheek bone for a soft , fresh and natural look. Also use on eyes and lips.

Mac Transleuscent Setting powder

For any unwanted shine or oilyness! Blotting powder will not add any more makeup it will only take away shine. Very fine and unnoticeable.
